Finandyne

Name: Finandyne, clear, colorless or yellowish solution.

Ingredients: 1 ml of the product contains the active substance: Fluvoxin Meglumine 83.0 mg (equivalent to 50.0 mg of flunixin).

Excipients: propylene glycol, diethanolamine, phenol, disodium edetate, sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate, hydrochloric acid, water for injections.

Pharmacological properties: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic product. Fluvoxin in the form of meglumine salt is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent.

Applications: To be used as an anti-inflammatory, anesthetic and antipyretic agent for the complex treatment of cattle, horses and pigs with acute inflammatory processes and pain syndrome. Finandyne is used for the complex treatment of pigs suffering from diseases of the respiratory system and MMA (metritis, mastitis, agalactia) syndrome, reduction of pain in the postoperative period (after castration).

Dosage: For pigs, the product is administered intramuscularly at a dose of: 1 ml of the product for 45 kg of body weight once a day for three days, if necessary, in combination with antibiotic or rehydration therapy. The maximum volume of one administration should not exceed 5 ml.

Contraindications: Do not apply to animals with diseases of the heart, liver and kidneys. Do not apply to animals at risk of bleeding in the digestive tract caused by hemostasis disorders Do not apply to animals with a high sensitivity to the components of the product. Do not apply to cows for 48 hours before the expected calving.

Side effects: Possible side effects include irritation of the mucous membrane of the digestive canal, formation of ulcers. Possible affects on kidneys in the use of the product for animals in the state of dehydration and hypovolemia.

Treatment: Treatment with Finandyne should be performed in combination with etiotropic therapy. Do not exceed the recommended dose of the product.

Interaction with other products: Do not mix with other veterinary drugs.

Do not use simultaneously with glucocorticoids, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and anticoagulants. Avoid simultaneous application with nephrotoxic drugs.

Withdrawal period:

Cattle: For meat and meta-by-products – 4 days, for milk – 24 hours. Horses: For meat and meta-by-products –  1 days. Do not apply to mare, milk of which is used in the food industry. Pigs: For meat and meta-by-products –  18 days.

Keep in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures of 2 °C up to 25 °C. Do not freeze the product.

Shelf life: 36 months. After first take-off from the vial, the product should be used within 28 days. For veterinary use only!
