The BRAVECTO® brand supported four-legged heroes: awarding service dogs at the 3rd “Four-Legged Defenders” ceremony

On November 14, 2024, the 3rd “Four-Legged Defenders” Award Ceremony took place, organized by the Kennel Union of Ukraine. This significant event honored the invaluable contribution of service dogs and their handlers, who work daily to ensure safety, save lives, and protect our country. The ceremony took place in an incredible location – the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.

We extend our sincere gratitude to each four-legged defender and their mentors for their dedication, courage, and selfless work for the benefit of our nation.

This year, awards were presented to 27 service dogs and their handlers from 11 state security and defense agencies of Ukraine, including:

• The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,
• The Armed Forces of Ukraine,
• The National Guard of Ukraine,
• The National Police of Ukraine,
• The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine,
• The State Emergency Service of Ukraine,
• The Security Service of Ukraine,
• The State Guard Department of Ukraine,
• The State Customs Service of Ukraine,
• The State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine,
• The Pavlohrad Search-and-Rescue Canine Squad “Antares.”

The awards were presented in five categories:

1. Detection of Explosive Devices — for outstanding ability to identify explosive devices and weapons.
2. Mine Detection Dog — for exceptional achievements in detecting mines and explosive items.
3. Special Purpose Dog — for heroic execution of tasks in the most challenging conditions.
4. Detection of Narcotics — for tireless efforts with law enforcement in combating illegal drug trafficking.
5. For Saving Lives — for heroic cases of rescuing people in extraordinary situations.

These dogs are true heroes, working side by side with their handlers, carrying out tasks that save lives and secure the peaceful future of our country. They protect us, and BRAVECTO® protects them by providing reliable protection against external parasites.
