Panacur
Name: Panacur Aquasol suspension of white or gray and white color for oral use.
Ingredients: 1 ml of the product contains the active substance: Fenbendazole – 200 mg;
Excipients: Benzyl alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Simeticone, water for injections.
Pharmacological properties: Aptigelmic veterinary drug – Fenbendazole (a group of benzimidazoles) inhibits the polymerization of tubulin protein in the microtubule, reduces the activity of energy enzymes, causing the death of parasites from exhaustion. It exhibits high antihelminthic activity and a wide range of effects against mature and immature parasite development stages.
Application: Prevention and treatment of pigs with gastrointestinal nematodes (mature and immature stages): Ascaris suum (adult and migratory larvae stages); Oesophagostomum spp. (adult stages); Hyostrongylus rubidus (adult and larval stages); Trichuris suis (adult stages).
Dosage:To be used with drinking water. Before calculating the dose, determine the body weight of animals. Before serving the treated water to the drinking system, it is washed with clean water and filled with water, to which the required amount of Panavour ® Aquasol is added. The dose is 2.5 mg of fenbendazole per 1 kg of body weight a day (equivalent to 0.0125 ml of Panacur Aquasol).
After administration of the product through drinking water, animals should have unlimited access to normal drinking water.
Contraindications: none.
Warnings: To dilute the product with water before administration in drinking water, use only precise calibrated measuring tools. When using the preparation and washing measuring tanks, use rubber gloves. After working with the product, wash hands with soap. Avoid accidental ingestion of the product in a human digestive tract.
Pharmaceutical form: High density polyethylene containers with heat-sealing and thread cap for 1 or 4 liters. A 4-liter container can be supplied with a dispenser.
Storage: Keep in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures of 2 °C up to 25 °C. Do not freeze the product!
Shelf life: 36 months; when opened 6 months, and when diluted with water 24 hours. For veterinary use only!
