Name: Zuprevo-4%, a yellowish-white or beige solution. (Injectable solution)
Ingredients: 1 ml of the product contains the active substance: tildipirozin – 40 мг;
Excipients: acid citrate monohydrate, propylene glycol, water for injections.
Pharmacological properties: Tildipirozin is a 16-membered semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic. It differs from many other macrolides by the duration of action, which after a single administration is 17 days.
Application: treatment of swine respiratory diseases (SRDs) caused by microorganisms (Actinobacillus plewopneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica and Haemophilus parasuis), susceptible to tildipirozin .
Dosage: intramuscularly at a dose of 4 mg of tildipirozin per kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml of the product per 10 kg of body weight) once. The volume of one administration should not exceed 5 ml. The rubber stopper of the vial can be stably punctured up to 20 times. A syringe for several doses of the product can be used. To ensure proper dosage and to avoid a decreased dose, it is required to determine the exact weight of the animal as accurately as possible.
Contraindications: Do not apply to animals with increased sensitivity to macrolides or any component of the product. Do not administer intravenously.
Warnings: It is recommended to use the product, based on the results of the test for sensitivity of microflora to its action. It is recommended to treat animals at an early stage of diseases and assess the reaction to treatment within 48 hours of injection. If clinical signs of respiratory disease persist or develop, or relapse occurs, the antibiotic is changed to another, and treatment should be continued until complete elimination of clinical signs.
Withdrawal period: Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 9 days after last administration of the product. Meat obtained before that period is utilized or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.
Pharmaceutical form: Yellow glass vials with rubber stoppers and flip off aluminum caps 20, 50, 100 and 250 ml. Secondary packaging: cardboard boxes.
Storage: keep in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures of 2 °C up to 25 °C.
Shelf life: 24 months.
