Name: Rilexine 15% for injections (suspension for injection), white suspension

Ingredients: 100 ml of the product contains the active substance:

cefalexin (in the form of monohydrate) -15 g. Excipients: benzyl alcohol, butylhydroxyanisol, castor oil, silicon dioxide, colloidal anhydrous, propylene glycol.

Pharmacological properties: Cefalexin is an antibiotic that belongs to the group of cephalosporins. It inhibits the synthesis of the cell wall of the microorganism. Bactericide acts against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Streptococcus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Salmonella spp., Fusobacterium spp. And others).

Application:  Treatment of cattle suffering from foot rot. metritis, and also diseases of the respiratory organs caused by microorganisms sensitive to cefalexin.

Dosage: intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml of the product per 10 kg of body weight (i.e., 15 mg of cefalexin per kg of body weight) once a day for 3-5 days. If necessary, the dose can be divided into 2 administrations per day. Before use, thoroughly shake the vial with the product.

Contraindications: increased sensitivity to cephalosporins and penicillins.

Withdrawal period: Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 5 days after last administration of the product. Withdrawal period for milk: 0 hours. Meat obtained before that period is utilized or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.

Pharmaceutical form: 100 and 250 ml glass vials with rubber stoppers and flip off aluminum caps

Storage: Keep in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures of 10 °C up to 40 °C.

Shelf life: 2 years. After first take-off from the vial, the product should be used within 3 months, provided it is stored in a dark place at a temperature of 5 °C up to 25 °C.
