Ingredients: 1 kg of the product contains the active substance: iamulin hydrogen fumarate – 450 mg
Excipients: lactose monohydrate.

Pharmaceutical form: Water-soluble powder for oral administration

Pharmacological properties: Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic that belongs to the group of Pleuromutilin The antibiotic has a bacteriostatic effect, inhibiting the synthesis of protein in sensitive microorganisms. The product is active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Brachyspira innocens, Brachyspira pilosicoli, Leptospira spp., Clostridium perfringens, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria monocytogenes, Pasteurella multocida, Actinomyces pyogenes, Actinobacillus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides spp., Campylobacter coli, Lawsonia intracellular is), as well as chlamydia and mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyosynoviae, M. hyorhinis, M. bovis, and others). Tiamulin accumulates in eggs of turkeys in the same way as in eggs of chickens.

Groups of animals: Pigs, poultry (broilers, young stock, laying hens and broods, turkeys and turkey hens).

Indications for use: Pigs: Treatment of animals suffering from dysentery, as well as with diseases of the respiratory system (a complex of respiratory diseases (CRD), pleuropneumonia) caused by microorganisms sensitive to tiamulina. Poultry (broilers, young stock, laying hens and broods, turkeys and turkey hens). Treatment of poultry suffering from chronic respiratory disease (HRS) and alveolar saculitis, infectious sinusitis caused by M. gallisepticum, M. synoviae and M. meleagridis, susceptible to thiamine.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tiamulin. Do not use products containing monensin, narazin or salinomycin in pigs and poultry for at least 7 days prior to, during and after treatment with tiamulin. This can lead to a deterioration in health or even death.

Side effects: In some cases, after application of tiamulin in pigs, erythema or slight edema may appear on the skin. In poultry, when using tiamulin, water intake may decrease. Depending on the concentration of thiamine in an aqueous solution, water consumption decreases: at 0.0125% – by 10%, and at 0.025% – by 15%. This is not reflected in either the general condition or the performance, but it is necessary to track the consumption of water, especially in summer

Use during pregnancy, lactation, laying periods: Tiamulin can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Tiamulin can be used for the treatment of laying hens and broods, since it does not affect egg production, fertility and hatching in chickens and turkeys.

Interaction with other products or other forms of interaction: The product is prohibited to be used simultaneously with salinomycin, monensin, narasin.

Dosage forms and routes of administration for animals of different age Pigs – Oral administration with drinking water in a dose: .In order to prepare a larger volume of the product and water solution, first prepare a concentrated solution, and then dilute it to the required concentration. Fresh tiamulin and water solutions should be prepared every day.

Special precautions: Simultaneous application of tiamulin and ionophore coccidiostatic  maduramicin may lead to growth retardation in chicken. 3-5 days after completion of treatment with tiamulin, madramycin can be used. Ionophors, lasalocid and Semduramicin do not cause such effect.

Withdrawal period: Slaughter of animals and poultry for meat is allowed after 2 days (if the dose of the product is max. 10 mg / kg of body weight in pigs), 4 days (if the dose is up to 20 mg / kg of body weight), 2 days (broilers, young birds, laying hens and broods) and 4 days (turkeys) after the last administration of the preparation.

Forms of incompatibility: Do not use simultaneously with monensin, salinomycin, narasin

Shelf life: 3 years.
Shelf life after the first opening of the primary packaging: 3 months. Shelf life after the drug has been dissolved in drinking water: 24 hours.

Special precautions during storage: Keep in a dry, dark place inaccessible for children at temperatures of 15 °C up to 25 °C.
